We love photo booths and we love talking about them. Come check out this page from time to time to see what we’ve turned up.
Setting The Record Straight
It has come to my attention that there is someone out there spreading lies about Photo Booth Artist. Competition in the OC is pretty fierce, but these unfounded accusations and underhanded tactics are despicable. The internet makes it is easy to hide behind anonymity and spread lies and mistruths. I will not put the names of the sites that they have gone to as that would only further their attack. I will however take this opportunity to Set The Record Straight about what we do and how we operate.
Photo Booth Artist always uses top of the line equipment and provides service second to none. While we never brag that we use an 18 megapixel Canon DSLR camera, have a 22 inch touch screen, use professionally designed strobe lighting, or that we use a professional dye sublimation printer (no inkjet, never used them, never will); that is what you will find inside our booth.
We have always believed that a photo booth is about the experience. We encourage all guests to use the booth so that you really get your money’s worth, but we never dictate who can use the booth. You paid for it, that’s your call.
Our team arrives in plenty of time to set up the booth and make sure that it is ready to go in plenty of time. We offer a variety of custom backgrounds, and we have a fully enclosed hard side booth (not a pipe and drape) as well as our Plein Air open booth to choose from.
Our design staff is professionally trained and when we say custom layout, it’s custom. We have three different photo strip templates and more than half a dozen 4 x 6 layout templates. You can change everything, frames/no frames, background color/pattern/design, font, font color, placement. We start with a template and customize it to your liking. Once we have the design complete the interface (what your guests see in the booth) is made to match.
Custom Graphics, Professionally Designed Lighting, and a staff that will help you to have a great experience is what we at Photo Booth Artist are all about. We receive praise from our customers and their guests all of the time. We hear things like, “The layout is fantastic!”, “The pictures are great!”, “You really made me look good!” and the list goes on. If you have any doubt, please use the contact button to the right or call me directly to see our booths in person, receive some samples or just ask a question.
New Promotional Video (2013-02-25)
On Saturday, February 23, 2013 we put out a new promotional video showing some of our unique layouts and interface designs. It’s featured on the landing page a photoboothartist.com so take a look. If you see something on the video you like or if you want something original, don’t hesitate to give us a call at 714-728-3625.
Back in 2010 when Photo Booth Artist started renting photo booths for Weddings, Quinceaneras, Sweet Sixteens, Mitzvahs and Corporate events there were only a hand full of companies around. Today Orange County has a lot of new photo booth companies popping up every day. Most of these new companies are run by DJs, computer programers, or a couple that just got married and thought that it would be a great way to make some extra money on the weekends. With the economy being so depressed right now I really can’t say that I blame them for thinking this way. But is that who you want to trust your photo booth memories to?
I just spoke with a representative from a local high school that hired us last year for their Prom. Seems that they had hired a company for considerably less than we charge for their winter formal. Well the old saying that you get what you pay for turned out to be all too true. The rep said that they were very unhappy with the print quality and that the strip layout was unsatisfactory too.
Photo Booth Artist was started by a professional photographer with over a quarter century of experience. Our booths are designed to take the best pictures possible. We use professional grade equipment for consistently great results. We have a professional graphic artist on staff to ensure that the layouts look great too.
So. Cal. Edison, An Evening of Allstars
Check out the Gallery Links section if you were at “An Evening of Allstars” this past weekend. The pictures are up and WOW, do they look great! Some of you were rockin’ the Santa hat with the ear flaps, even had a few rock the “Bah Humbug” hat. Can you tell they’re some of my new favorites? If you were at the event just look at your picture for the password to open up the gallery. We are currently looking into a solution for those of you on iOS devices. Seems the gallery uses flash and you won’t see it on your iPad, iPhone or iPod. Until we can find a way around this please use your PC or Macintosh computer to view your pictures.
Holiday Party Season is Here
Last night was our second Holiday Party of the 2011 Season. It was at the Diamond Club at Edison Field. With a few new props added to the mix and two printing options it was off the hook.
These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things…
My favorite new hat is red with ear flaps and has a Santa Buckle on it. Quite a few guests rocked it. Another popular hat was the black Santa hat with “Bah Humbug” written on the white fringe. I’ll have to take some pictures and post them when I get a moment to breath. We also now have a Christmas Tree Hat (visible in picture to the right). I think it’s hilarious, but my wife thinks differently.
Give And Get
We’re always looking for ideas for some new and awesome props. If you know of any drop us a line to let us know, we always appreciate it. And for your trouble we’ll give you a discount on your next rental. Just click on the “Contact” button to the right.
Social Media Station Makes It’s Debut
Something that we always strive to do at Photo Booth Artist is to stay ahead of the crowd. We do that with our style, knowledge, work ethic and our technology. We recently created a Social Media Station.
What is a Social Media Station?
That’s a great question. With the Social Media Station after your guests exit the booth they can send the pictures to their email, Facebook or Twitter. And moments after they have made their way back to the party a buz in their pocket or purse will tell them the pictures have arrived in their email in box.
Comments that we have heard in the first few events where we offered this were all extremely positive.
I’m going to keep this post short but I wanted to include a picture of the Social Media Station. It’s available as an add-on to any rental.
